Overview
The 85 series integrates the fly screen into the window frame instead of bolting a separate screen frame to the inside face. From both the interior and the exterior the sash and frame read as one flush plane, which is why it is used on elevations where a bolt-on screen would break the line.
Construction follows the casement family: one-piece corner key on the outer frame, top-pin corner key on the mullion, and inside glazing in single or double glass. Glazing is 5 + 12A + 5 Xinyi original glass, or single glazing where the climate allows.
This is a non-thermal-break system. Where a thermal break is required, specify the 110 or 115 system window instead.
